What is a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO)? A PPO is a group of carefully selected doctors, hospitals and other providers who have contracted with OhioHealth Group to provide cost-effective, high-quality health care.
What is HealthReach? HealthReach is a provider-owned PPO offered by OhioHealth Group.
How will I know if my physician is in the network? Click here for a complete listing of HealthReach providers, or call customer service at (614) 566-0056 or (800) 455-4460. If you don’t find your provider in the website directory, check with our Customer Service for the most up-to-date listing.
What if my physician is not listed? HealthReach is always in the process of recruiting and credentialing physicians to meet business needs. Physicians must be on staff at a network hospital and meet credentialing requirements. The best way to get your physician in the plan is to encourage him or her to contact us at (614) 566-0056 or (800) 455-4460.
How do I make an appointment? When you call to schedule an appointment, identify yourself as a HealthReach customer. On the day of your visit, show your identification card that displays the HealthReach logo, your employer’s name and the mailing address for claims. The HealthReach logo will be printed on the card or affixed with a sticker.
If I receive services from a network hospital, can I assume the provider is in the network? No. To make sure you get the most from your benefits, you must verify whether the provider is a HealthReach provider. Check the directory or call customer service to confirm their participation.
