OhioHealth Group Credentialing Services has implemented the new credentialing forms, processes and timelines that resulted from the passage of Ohio's Health Care Simplification Act (House Bill 125) in early 2008.

Effective January 1, 2009: All new applicants applying for membership at a central Ohio OhioHealth hospital will be required to provide fingerprints to the OhioHealth Protective Services or Human Resources Department.

OHGCS currently recredentials practitioners based upon the specialty of the practitioner. We currently have 8 reappointment cycles in a 2-year period.
