Health Management

We offer a full array of medical management services.

Experience you can rely on

You can trust the experience of OhioHealth Group. We’ve been in business more than 20 years, and are owned by many of the physicians and hospitals in our network. We have worked with more than 25 different third-party administrators (TPAs) to serve their clients’ employees in Ohio.

A trusted partner

OhioHealth Group is your trusted partner in providing healthcare benefit solutions to employees in central Ohio. We don’t pay claims or administer self-insured clients, so there’s no conflict of interest or potential for competition with third-party administrators (TPAs). We understand your need for superior service, competitive pricing and a commitment to quality. Because we’re owned by local providers, we are driven by a healthcare mission that benefits employers and their employees.

We offer:

  • Local account management – Your success drives our success. We’re here to help with frequent electronic file updates, GeoAccess reporting, disruption analysis, fee schedule inquiries and other reports to make your life easier. Our responsive, local account managers will get you whatever you need, fast.
  • Extraordinary customer service – Members reach a local live person, not an interactive voice response system, in an average of 19 seconds.
  • Competitive, predictable pricing – Because we are provider-owned, we negotiate the most competitive discounts, and we pass them on to your clients. Predictable, fixed network pricing is easy to understand and budget for, with no hidden fees or extra charges that you might get from our competitors.
  • Transparent pharmacy pricing – We will guarantee per claim rebates for your clients, so there are no surprises.

Provider ownership

OhioHealth Group is jointly owned by OhioHealth (a faith-based, not-for-profit family of leading healthcare providers in central Ohio) and The Medical Group of Ohio (an independent physician association). Because both organizations understand and deliver healthcare, we are in a unique position to meet your needs. We are part of  a mission to improve the health of those we serve, and are responsible stewards of your clients’ health and healthcare dollars. The commitment of our physicians and hospitals translates to loyalty and stability in our network.

Commitment to quality

We credential providers in compliance with all NCQA accreditation standards. Our networks include central Ohio’s leading providers, who have received national recognition for high quality of care:

  • OhioHealth hospitals have appeared numerous times on U.S. News & World Report’s list of the top 50 hospitals in the nation for various specialties, including heart and heart surgery (Riverside Methodist, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2008), orthopedics (Grant, 2002, 2003, 2007 and 2008), ear, nose and throat care (Riverside Methodist, 2006 and 2008), and cancer care (Riverside Methodist, 2004, 2005 and 2006).
